Mozaik Foundation's administrative costs are covered by the Governments of Switzerland and Sweden and other partners. Your donation goes directly to programmes.
Trust in Practice

A System whose results are not visible loses Trust. Mozaik Foundation is a rare example of an organisation that has measured, published and stood behind its numbers for years. As the Agency that monitors youth employment in Bosnia and Herzegovina, we see the difference between a project and a System, and Mozaik Foundation is a System.
Ivan Barbalić
Director, Labour and Employment Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Building a company anywhere in the world, including in Bosnia and Herzegovina, means working every day with people who bring different strengths, perspectives and skills. That is exactly what Mozaik Foundation does: it builds a System that equips young people for ambitious business ventures, the challenges ahead and a better future.

Where Your Support Goes
Questions and Answers
Answers to the questions we hear most often from our people at home and abroad.
View All Questions →Local people. Mozaik Foundation is a home-grown organisation, completely independent of every political party and political agenda. Our team reflects the diversity of our country, with offices in Sarajevo and Banja Luka and more than 20 professionals from across Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our work is overseen by a Board of Directors made up of respected people from the private and development sectors. For more than two decades, many strategic partners have stood behind our work, including today the Governments of Switzerland and Sweden and private foundations from around the world. We do not work for any side. We work for young people, building our Homeland.
Zero. Every donation goes directly to programmes. Our administrative and operating costs are covered by strategic partners, including the Governments of Switzerland and Sweden, other development institutions, and our own earned income. That means your support does not disappear into overheads. It goes exactly where you intended it to go.
From several sources, by design. We rely on donor grants, returns from our own investments, support from individuals, and partnerships with companies. This hybrid model keeps us independent of politics and any single donor. That is why we are a long-term partner, not a short-term project that disappears when one source of funding dries up. It gives us what is rare and essential today: stability, credibility and the independence to choose our own path and strengthen communities across Bosnia and Herzegovina. And 100% of every individual donation still goes directly to programmes.
View Our Investments →It does not go into a one-off activity that ends and is forgotten. It goes into something that lasts: helping a young person get their first real opportunity, build a skill the labour market needs, start a business and build a life here. Every donation supports one of the three parts of the System we are building: young people's Skills - Mozaik YouthBanks and Rolify; quality Jobs - Tech4Impact and support for youth-led businesses; and Trust in local communities. You can see exactly where your donation went in our annual reports and independent audit. We do not ask you to take our word for it.
View Results →You do not have to trust us. Verify it. Every year, we publish both a programme report showing what we did and an independent audit of the entire organisation showing where the money went. Accountability at Mozaik does not rest on one person. It rests on clear governance, oversight and internal control. We are among the few organisations in Bosnia and Herzegovina that maintain this standard year after year, and that is exactly why the Governments of Switzerland and Sweden, and partners like them, have trusted us for two decades.
View Reports →No, with deep respect for those that are. Humanitarian work saves lives today. For years, many people in our diaspora have sustained that help out of pure love for the Homeland. We value that deeply. But we work on what comes next: building reasons why people will not have to depend on aid tomorrow. We are a development organisation. We build young people's Skills, quality Jobs and Trust in local communities, so that young people have real opportunities here and do not have to leave. One puts out the fire. The other builds the house. Our Homeland needs both.
In two ways. By card, quickly and securely, directly on this website. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Maestro from around the world. Or by bank transfer directly to Mozaik Foundation's account, including SWIFT for international transfers. All details are available on the Donate page. Wherever you are, at home or abroad, your support reaches the same place.

We have worked for more than two decades, with results you can verify, compare and track.

In accordance with auditing standards and our methodology, we completed the client acceptance procedures and accepted the engagement to audit Mozaik Foundation's financial statements. During the engagement, we confirmed that, for Mozaik Foundation, transparency is not merely a marketing term, but a way of working. The Foundation does not see transparency as a burden, but as a standard it sets for itself.
